Among the most famous and surprising beautiful beaches in Kefalonia are Xi beach and the nearby Petani beach at Paliki peninsula. The first stands out for its red soft sand deriving from the white clay surrounding cliffs. Its peculiarity and uniqueness impress everybody while you can use the clay to spread it all over your body and feel its refreshing qualities.
Near to Xi beach is located the well known Petani beach. The beach is absolutely magnificent while the surrounding cliffs make the whole landscape enormously interesting and distinguishing. The beach consists mainly of pebbles and it is partly organized with beach bar and umbrellas. On your way to the above beaches you will have the opportunity to admire a great part of our island as well.

Please bring with you a pair of dry clothes to change after your swim at Xi and Petani beach. We strongly recommend to use sun cream and a hut.
