The Diamonds of Kefalonia

This excursion is absolutely the perfect chance for a visitor to admire the various aspects of our island as long as the most important highlights that Kefalonia has to offer in small groups with individualized experience and service. We start our tour by visiting the religious centre of our island, which is St. Gerasimos Monastery, where we can feel the long time religious tradition of our land. Then a few meters away we will take a close look at the local wine industry and taste the indigenous local wine, called Robola variant.

After that we visit the spectacular Drogarati Cave and see the marks of its interesting geological history, its famous stalagmites and stalactites. From our excursion it would not be missing the fascinating underground lake of Melissani including a boat ride in the lake. Continuing our trip we make a quick stop at the traditional village of St. Efimia which has evolved to an important touristic place. At the end we will have the chance to make several photos above the present of Mother Earth to us, the famous and several times nominated as the most beautiful beach on earth, Myrtos Beach.
